This site is dedicated to selling books in Australia with the twin foci of books on fibre craft and books likely to be of interest to recreational medievalists. I try to keep the catalogue up to date with what books I have in stock. Please ask about books not on the catalogue. Many more books can be ordered on request, or are already on order, and will appear in the catalogue when they arrive. Please check back regularly for new books. Most books are imported from the US, which can take between one and three months to arrive. Prices can change without warning depending on the exchange rate and the cost of freight from USA.

Colonial Lake Books is based in South Australia, but can send books Australia wide. I am happy to bring books to local SA craft groups for selling, and can visit interstate groups when I am travelling in that direction. Enquiries welcome.

Postage

Cost of postage of orders from me to you is paid by you. Books are sent by standard Australia Post letter and parcel rates. In general postage is $3.00 for single magazines and small books, or $11.50 for books over 500g, and any number of books up to a total of 3kg (so long as they fit in the prepaid post satchel). If in doubt about the amount of postage to add, please contact me. If the order is in stock, it will be dispatched within a few days. Otherwise I will advise you as to the expected delay.

Payment

Payment is by:

• cheque or money order, payable to Colonial Lake Books
• Direct Deposit (BankSA - a subsidiary of St. George Bank and Westpac; BSB:105-121 Acct#:073955140 Acct Name: Colonial Lake Books)
• Visa and Mastercard: Let me know the card number, expiry date, and name on the card (Phone 08 8389 3404)
• or cash, if you see me in person

Orders

Send orders to bartel@coloniallakebooks.com.au and I will advise on availability of stock, and cost of postage. Order will be dispatched on receipt of payment. If stock needs to be ordered from elsewhere, I will email you when the stock comes in, and advise on cost.
